This is another variation of Chocolate Chip Cookies v.02. It is much softer and chewy in comparison to the previous v.01┬áso it will depend on your preference. I think these turn out to be pretty decent but a bit too soft for my own personal preference. Overall it’s still delicious and if you like soft and chewy this might be the cookie for you!

Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cups butter, softened
  • 3/4 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Method

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Step 2

Shift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.

Step 3

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended.

Step 4

Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.

Step 5

Drop cookie dough by rounded spoonfuls or cookie scoops onto baking pans with parchment paper.

Step 6

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown. Enjoy!
