Hello Dolly Bars or as other name is “magic cookies” is a cookie bar that is baked in a pan with all the ingredients mixed in and cut into squares. There is a few different variations to this recipe, the more typical one only uses chocolate chip, but in this recipe i have included butterscotch and white chocolate. Don’t worry about the “green” you see in my photos, I was reusing some leftover coconut shreds from st.patricks day =). Overall super easy recipe and tasted great.


  • 2 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 ½ cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1½ cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • One and a half 14-ounce cans sweetened condensed milk


Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

Step 2

In a large bowl, mix together pecans and graham cracker crumbs. Transfer mixture to prepared pan and pat down evenly.

Step 3

Evenly distribute, coconut, chocolates and butterscotch chips on top.

Step 4

Slowly pour sweetened condensed milk over the top. (Optional: add another 1/2 cup chopped pecans on top)

Step 5

Bake 30-35 minutes, or until light golden brown.

Step 6

Cool completely and then cover in plastic wrap. Let sit at room temperature overnight before cutting.
