This is a recipe for Sloppy Joes Spaghetti, It is essentially replacing a normal meat sauce with sloppy joe giving it a different taste. It turned out to be decent and pretty easy and gives you a twist to the typical spaghetti dish. Overall it’s a simple, easy and fun recipe and worth trying out.
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 whole fresh tomato, diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup bottled barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 tbsp garlic, diced
- Cheddar cheese
Boil water with a bit of oil and salt in a pot as per instruction in the spaghetti package. Can vary base on the amount you are making.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook onion and garlic until onion is soft.
Brown ground beef, stirring often, 8 to 10 minutes or until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain well.
This is a good time to put in the pasta into the prepared boiling water.
Return to skillet. Stir in tomatoes, ketchup, bbq sauce, and worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook 10 minutes.
Drain pasta and serve beef mixture over spaghetti; sprinkle with cheese. Enjoy!
